I'm excited to be participating in the Authors in Bloom Giveaway. Thanks for stopping by. Multiple authors are participating and will be sharing gardening tips and/or recipes as well as giving away books and other prizes. The grand prize giveaway is a Nook or Kindle.

GARDENING TIP

I love to use coffee grounds as mulch in my garden. They help keep the soil moist. Of course, I come by these easily since my husband and I oversee Java Journey Coffee Shop ministry in Hickory and I can get grounds by the bucketful.  You can check with your local coffee shop to see if they will save coffee grounds for you.

  3. My treasures are agreeably my 3 boys and the rest of my family. Had a close scare with my mom in January and only by the miracle of God is she still here. Through everything logical to the drs she shouldn't have made it through her heart attack.

Thank you for doing the blog hop this is so much fun!

  9. I use coffee grounds too!! I love how good it smells when it rains. I can smell it now!

I treasure the small things in life. The good morning smile from my little boys. The kiss goodbye before school. The "I'm looking for you mommy" look at the school play. The glance across the room from my husband. The little things are so precious.
